This bias tape maker does the job.It makes crisp folds.I have only used it with quilter quality cotton.But, I figured that was the toughest test. Makes the bias tape fast and well.The trick is to make sure you press the reset button each time you plug it in or change the settings.Well worth the money.No more burned fingers.Go for it!

Simplicity Bias Tape Machine Tip - 2-1/2" Cut Strip For Quilt Binding Review

I really like my Siplicity Bias Tape Machine, but the 2 1/2 " quilt binding tip is a waste of money.I had expected that it was going to make 2 1/2 " bias tape for quilt borders, but it does not.All it does is to take a 2 1/2 " strip, and fold it in half.It is difficult to load the fabric into the tip, so just folding the strip in half and using a standard iron would be way easier.Do not waste your money on this tip.If you are thinking about buying a Bias Tape Machine with the idea of using it for 2 1/2 " borders, you will be disappointed.
