Singer Foot Controller Air/Electronic Review

I own a 6235 Singer and have already replaced this foot controller once, now I am needing to replace it a 2nd time.First time I thought it was my fault for keeping the machine infront of a heat vent, therefore the heat was drying out the little rubber bulb inside this controller that cracked.I moved the machine to a better spot in the room so that wouldn't happen again.Doesn't matter.The rubber bulb inside cracked again, and I am needing to replace this AGAIN.Might as well count on having to replace this on your machine from time to time.
