I gave a 3 because it does have a great selection of colors, however I felt that the pictures were a bit misleading, leading me to think that these spools were the same size as serger spools/cones you can buy in stores.Please see my attached photo for a comparison to a 'normal' sized spool of thread.Cannot attest the sewing capabilities of the thread as have not used it for serging yet...hoping it will work on the machine without too much trouble.The thread works well in the regular sewing machine, and I must admit that it is fun having all these colors and have upgraded to 4 starsClick Here to see more reviews about: MEGA 400 ALL Purpose SEWING QUILTING SERGER THREAD
